⚔️🔥 “Woof — The Bond of Dunk & Egg” — Ser Duncan’s Return Edit

”The edit opens with a moment that feels like home between Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg. As Duncan mounts his horse and prepares to leave, he turns back and says with that rough-hearted charm:

“You best be here when I get back.
Rob me and I’ll hunt you down with dogs.”

Egg smiles — not because he’s scared, but because he remembers this line from an earlier time. It harks back to Season One, Episode 2, when they were still learning to trust one another. Back then, when Duncan first threatened him with dogs, Egg questioned:

“We don’t have dogs.”

And Duncan, without missing a beat, replied:

“I’ll get some.”
Egg asked, Where?
And Duncan simply went:

“Woof.”

Now — in the present — after the flashback completes and the battle has raged, Ser Duncan rises from the ground, wounded and battered. Egg stands nearby and — with that same faith he’s always had — shouts:

“Get up, sir! Get up, Ser Duncan!”

And as the moment crescendos, Duncan hears a voice in his dream — the voice of Ser Arlan of Pennytree urging:

“Get up.”

With fire in his eyes, Duncan pushes himself up, fueled by memory, purpose… and Egg’s belief. He moves toward Prince Aerion, shield and sword in hand, and brings him down with a fierce assault that sends Aerion to the ground. At his lowest, Aerion finally cries out:

“I yield…”

Duncan then hauls him before the judges, demanding — roaring — that Aerion declare his submission:

“Tell them that you withdraw your accusation!
Tell him! Tell him!”

Cornered and defeated, Aerion relents:

“I withdraw my accusations.”

With that, Duncan throws him aside — victorious.

But the fight has taken its toll. Duncan staggers…

And in that moment, Egg rushes to his side, supported by two men, lifting him up, steadying him. It’s a visual testament to how far they’ve come — from awkward allies to brothers in arms.

This edit shows us not just a battle won, but a bond forged. From the early jest about dogs to this desperately loyal moment, Duncan and Egg’s relationship has grown stronger and deeper than ever. And we know — with more episodes and future seasons — we’ll see even more of this legendary duo.

  1. I am absolutely in love with the bond these 2 have formed! What an unlikely yet perfect pair! We would have been great friends had i been there lol!!!

  2. Compare Dex's acting to that of other big budget projects like Harry Potter. I think he is even younger than most of the main Harry Potter kids but has shown more range and ability in one "Waiiiiiit!" than all the Harry Potter kids did in 7 or 8 movies in total.

  3. That song, from snatch, reminds me of some Pikey dialog that would fit quite nice in this show. " fook me, look at the size of ya! How big are ya? Hey, How big is he? He's a big man. Aye, ya look like a boxer. 😂

  4. I wonder if he was talking about the the hound. Would be poetic if his grandchildren were the hound and the mountain.

  5. There are two disadvantages in this series, too much humor and modern music is completely out of place. It's like watching Guy Ritchie.

  6. Egg: Get up ser Duncan 🙁
    Dunk: …
Ser Arlan of Pennytree: Get up!
Ser Duncan the Tall: COWABUNGA IT IS

  7. I wonder if Dunk will become a witcher one day; hopefully kill that awful actor that got to replace Henry Cavill. (Egg can get rid of the rats)

  8. Egg has great taste in big brothers. I hope this show does get 15 seaons. It could be better that HOTD for sure; maybe not as good as peak GOT; but somehow I want it more!

  9. Hermes is the most ‘human/relatable’ god. Hermes’ has the most domains of all the gods and interact with the more humans than the others. He’s also the messenger of the god.
The others would have an aura around them and probably full of themselves but he’s just like ‘whatever’ and too busy

  10. If he’d have just killed the little shit the second he had the chance, Baelor may have lived. It was that close to it all changing.
His mercy killed the best king they could’ve had, and the man who would’ve been his master.

  11. Oh come on let the actor be spitting up mud and grass as he retracts his allegation just like in the book

  12. Dunc really rose from the grave and was like "Hold on…I didn't hear no f***ing bell" and proceeded to put belt to ahh on aerion

  13. That woof by egg gives a vibe that is exact for the time and can't be described
I still wonder that 9 year old did it so smooth

  14. This series is a masterpiece. These two actors are two rare gems. The rest of the cast is incredibly good. May the Seven forbid the Woke Walkers from coming after this one!
