Okay, we aren’t exaggerating, we would eat this over noodle lasagna any day. SERIOUSLY so good!!
and so easy too.
Quarter one cabbage and boil the quarters in water for 3 minutes. remove and let cool and pat dry before using.
Brown one pound of hamburger and then add your favorite jarred pasta sauce. you really don’t need any other seasonings. If you choose a good sauce.
Put about a cup and a half of ricotta, half cup of parmesan, one beaten egg, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, if desired, in a bowl and mix it well.
Butter your nine by thirteen baking dish
Add a small layer of sauce, then, a layer of cabbage and then ricotta and more sauce.Repeat the layers.I only got two, and that was really all we needed.
Bake uncovered in a four hundred degree oven for about twenty minutes.
let rest ten to fifteen minutes before cutting into.

#lasagna #easyrecipe #dinner #lowcarb thank you @Vinny for sharing your method.

  1. Hack, freezing your cabbage will also allow leaves to separate. You can pull it out of the freezer in the morning and skip the boiling during evening meal prep.

  2. That is way too brown for my taste 400 is too high to bake lasagna the cheese is almost burnt I will try it my way I would start at $350 and then go to $375 but no higher I don’t think it needs to go higher than 350 you’re just basically wanting to melt the cheese not brown it like that sorry but that turned me off at the end

  3. 😊😊😊That is definitely Not too brown. It’s just perfect. I have considered cabbage, lasagna for years but I never tried it. Seeing yours has changed my mind. Thanks. Much love.❤❤❤
