INGREDIENTS:
âĒ 4 lbs 93/7 lean ground beef
âĒ 10 oz Cajun-style andouille sausage
âĒ 16 oz dry penne or rigatoni
VEGGIES:
âĒ 2 bell peppers, diced
âĒ 1 large yellow onion, diced
âĒ 6 cloves garlic, minced
SAUCE BASE:
âĒ 1 cup beef broth
âĒ Â― cup heavy whipping cream
âĒ 8 oz reduced-fat cream cheese
âĒ 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
âĒ 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
âĒ 2 tbsp Louisiana hot sauce
CAJUN SEASONING:
âĒ 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
âĒ 1 tbsp smoked paprika
âĒ 1 tbsp garlic powder
âĒ 1 tsp onion powder
âĒ 1 tsp black pepper
âĒ Â―â1 tsp cayenne
âĒ Â― tsp dried thyme
CHEESE FINISH:
âĒ 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar
âĒ Â― cup grated Parmesan
Crockpot HIGH 2.5â3 hours.
Add cream cheese + cheddar + parmesan.
Fold in cooked pasta. Let thicken.
