  1. I leave the cooked garlic in the sauce as well as cutting up the basil. I also add coarsely ground black pepper. This has been my favorite go-to sauce for years… Occasionally I will add when sauteing the garlic sauteing minced or chopped onion as well. Only sometimes do I blend it smooth I usually enjoy it chunky. ๐ŸŽ‰
