A few costumes I see I only had it on for a couple minutes. They don’t look pleasant. They look evil.
This 8-hour walk through Venice Carnival is pure art. The detail in the costumes is incredible. It feels like stepping back in time!
Because of the influx of tourists coming to Venice, a fee is now required to limit the number of tourists. The city is concerned about the environmental impact on Venice.

Great walk as usual, though the Highlights links seem to be off in places. E.g the Campo San Barnaba section actually starts at 5.41 not 5.52 as indicated, and the boat ride starts at 5.52 not 5.59. I only noticed as I was trying to get to Campo San Barnaba where much of David Lean's "Summer Holiday" with Katherine Hepburn was filmed and found myself on the Grand Canal 🙂
