Yea Authentic Italian food is alot blander then Italian American food. I once was an American Italian and an Italy Italian arguing becuase the American Italian who spoke perfect Italian was using garlic and onions. I like American Italian food better.
Authentic Italian food is plain tho. They don’t mix onions or garlic. It’s very two or three strong flavours and that’s it. That’s their culture tho. No hate I love a bit of Italian Italian food!
