  1. The cheese is layered on the bottom, have you ever made Detroit Pizza before the sauce goes on the top? Cheese on the bottom that’s how it is.

    A proper Detroit style is sausage and supreme. If you get just cheese, you want to see the cheese unless you cut the pizza. This is coming from a pizza veteran or a pizza expert.
