When using pineapple on pizza it MUST be well drained and patted dry. If not you get a soggy mess. When properly dried before cooking you get great caramelized nuggets of goodness.
pizza with pineappel, chicken and mushrooms is the bes one there is. those pineappel pieces in the clip are insanly big. you need to put smaller pieces on it and make sure they are not to wet so the dough doesn't get soggy
People are ridiculous for getting so bothered about Hawaiian Pizza. Seriously; pay attention to the news.. lots of serious topics to be dramatic about.
Add crispy bacon & jalapeños (without their seeds for mild, with for el scorcho culero) and see if you like it more…the salty, the sweet, the heat – mmmm – lightly toasted Sesame seeds add a lovely extra dimension as well. PS: my grandparents were Sicilian and for as long as I can recall, the phrase: "it's not the end of the world", was never under used by our entire family. 🍕🍕🍕🍍🥓🌶
I grew up as Italian, both my parents cooked, we had homemade pizza all the time. My Dad made it one time but it was with carmalised pineapple not out of the can pineapple. He couldn't get past the idea of all the wet of the fruit, so he "dried" it, in a pan. We had it a few times, it was ok that way
I've had amazing Hawaiian pizza, and I've had awful Hawaiian pizza. You can't really judge the whole category by one version. The best one I ever had was at a pizza place that doesn't exist anymore in Hunter's Creek (Orlando) back in the '00s. I think it had cinnamon and sliced almonds in the crust. Sounds weird, I know, but it was actually delicious.
Pineapple is my favorite topping on pizza. I think it makes EVERY type of pizza better. My go-to is tomato sauce base, pepperoni, green peppers, feta cheese, double pineapple and mozzarella. 🤌👌

It's charcuterie. It's fruit, it's bread, it's cheese.
Shame on y’all for those fruity pizzas!
Tell Hawaiians that

Round Table Pizza's Maui Zaui is the only pineapple on pizza I go for.
I’m with them. 🤢
They wrap prosciutto with melon. What's the difference than wrapping it in a pineapple pizza

Ham and fruit are delicious together and pineapple is not different… But it does need to be made correctly. Otherwise you get a soggy bottom lol

Italians define pizza in the modern world?? That's weird…

With ham!!!!!
You are doing it wrong. Where are you from, Canada? Pineapple must be accompanied by Jalapenos or at least Banana Peppers.
So gross 🤮

Yummy. Tomatoes are fruits also ppl 😂😂
Yes to pineapple on pizza. Ketchup on hot dogs too! Fight me.
The last guy got it right the pineapple adds a little bit of sweetness to the pizza, and I think the acidity helps it mesh with the tomatoes flavor
La pizza no puede ser arruinada ya que de por si es puro veneno, lo que le pongas depende de gusto del comensal
