Hiya John ! Italian wines over and over and over I have tried them, blind and not blind, and every time they show a profile that for my personal taste I just dont like them. Yes, I have a few that I absolutely love like Petrolo Galatrona and Flacianello De La Pavie and some Amarones, but frankly I have huge problems with a lot of Italian wines. I honestly think that Italian wines do not travel well as when I have been in Italy I like them there, but when I buy them in USA they lose their charm. I know its kind of dumb to even think that, but honestly it has been my personal experience. Anyways…..have a great day !
Hi I bought 18 bottles of the 19 riserva when can I drink this brunello?
Noobie lesson: Concierge Sales advertised Chateau Giscours 2022 #1 WS for $100 US back in Fall 2025, delivery maybe as late as March, 2026. I bought 2 bottles. Yesterday I went to Costco where it was in stock at $ 75 per. But I had already blown my meager wine budget on Masi and Tommasi Amarone (love amarone). I knew about the upcoming Costco trip but they are so impossible to know what's there. I once bought the Costco Barolo and I thought it was dreck!
Tried most of this selection and LOVE them all! I rarely have carb dishes these days and these Italian wines are still Great with fatty Ribeyes and right to the last drop too 🙂Cheers 🍷Love your picks!
