A Perfect Night Out at Dodici Pizza & Wine 🍕🍷✨ The other night, Christine and I enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Dodici Pizza & Wine in downtown Brownsville. Located inside the historic Fernandez & Hermanos Building—lovingly restored by former Mayor Trey Mendez—this spot is a true Brownsville treasure. The architecture is stunning, and the courtyard is perfect for dining al fresco or hosting special events. Dodici specializes in authentic Neapolitan pizza, baked in a custom Italian oven made specifically for this restaurant. They also offer a great selection of appetizers and entrées. We enjoyed their beet salad and a Margherita pizza with gluten-free crust (don’t judge—I had no choice! 😄). If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.
