Love your reels & kitchen. Might I suggest, and this is only a suggestion, that you consider a flat weave area rug for under your breakfast table. It would define that area & tie it together with lovely botanical prints on the wall. Of flat weave it would be easy to clean. X

Seit vielen Jahren schauen mein Mann und ich (am Wochenende morgens im Bett mit einem Kaffee) Eure Videos an. Wir haben schon so viele schöne Orte in England erkundet und so viele tolle Ideen für unser Zuhause umgesetzt, weil Ihr uns sehr, sehr inspiriert. Dafür möchte ich mich heute bei Euch bedanken!!! Im Mai werden wir zum 2. Mal in die Cotswolds reisen, dieses Jahr in den nördlichen Teil, und auch in Schottland waren wir schon oft. Wir haben durchweg und ausschließlich positive Erfahrungen gemacht mit den Menschen denen wir begegnet sind. Alle waren freundlich, unaufgeregt, geduldig und hilfsbereit. Und wir sprechen nicht sooo gut Englisch. Wir lieben die sanften Landschaften in England und das wilde, spektakuläre Schottland gleichermaßen. Danke für alles was Ihr hier teilt! Wow I always enjoy seeing your deVOL kitchen design. Your current layout is so much more practical than the previous design. The larder, plate rack and cabinet that extends down to the counter with glass in the doors ( I'm sorry I do not know the proper name for this piece) are my favorite pieces.
Your kitchen also suits my taste, but I'm not familiar with sweet and sour eggs here in Lower Saxony, whereas I am familiar with eggs with mustard sauce. My grandmothers came from West Prussia and the Lüneburg Heath, so I know hearty dishes from them.
Hallo, aus Rheinland Pfalz….. Ich kenne in der Art eurer sauren Eier, "Eier in Senfsoße" und dort hinein kommen noch gewürfelte Essiggurken. Also auch etwas sauer und leicht scharf. Ein Gericht meiner Kindheit…., dass ich heute noch gelegentlich mache.

Hallo liebe Kirsten und Jörg, ich habe mich gerade so sehr für euch gefreut dass ihr endlich die traumhaften Fliesen an der Wand habt. Ich hoffe es ging ohne größeren Ärger. Es sieht sehr sauber gemacht aus was man über den Bildschirm gesehen hat. Da hat sich die lange Suche nach einem Fliesenleger gelohnt:) Und Lotta mittendrin, so süß. Ich finde euer ganzes Haus, was ihr so alles privates zeigt, wunderschön gelungen. Alle Farben harmonieren so schön zusammen. Wir haben auch noch einen alten 200 Jahre alten Tisch mit den Gebrauchsspuren von früher im Hobbyraum, er hat in unser altes Bauernhaus ins Esszimmer so schön gepasst, aber unser jetziges Esszimmer ist so riesig dass er untergeht und wir einen großen Eichenholztisch gekauft haben. Er ist so schön dass es mir immer sehr leid tut dass er nicht mehr jeden Tag benutzt wird. Wir haben auch lange gesucht damals. Ich wollte unbedingt so einen Tisch wo eine Schublade hat wie früher bei meiner Oma. Ich würde ihn gerne an jemand abgeben der ihn genauso schätzt wie ich. Euer Essen sah sehr lecker aus. Ich mache ab und zu Senfsoße mit Eiern und Salzkartoffeln. Das ist auch ein Essen wo meine Oma, sie kamen aus Pommern, gemacht hat. Der Geschmack von Essig ist sehr verschieden, und ich kann mir gut vorstellen dass deshalb dein Essen nicht gleich geschmeckt hat wie bei deiner Schwester. Schade, du hattest bestimmt große Vorfreude darauf. Vielen lieben Dank euch beiden dass ihr doch immer wieder sehr private Einblicke in euren Videos gebt. War leider wieder sehr spät dran mit anschauen, aber ich habe dann immer noch die Vorfreude wie wenn man eine Schatzkiste öffnet:)) Ich wünsche euch eine gute Woche, und bis bald.
