Aglio e Olio is a nice, simple dish you can make for dinner, perfect for date night

•Pasta (spaghetti or your choice)
•Garlic cloves, thinly sliced
•Fresh peppers or dried chili flakes
•Olive oil
•Italian parsley, finely chopped (stems and leaves separated)
•Salt
•Black pepper
•Parmesan cheese, grated

1.Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Generously salt the water and cook the pasta until just al dente (slightly underdone). Reserve some pasta water before draining.
2.Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, peppers or chili flakes, and parsley stems. Sauté gently until fragrant, being careful not to brown the garlic.
3.Add the cooked pasta and a splash of reserved pasta water to the pan. Toss well, adding more pasta water as needed until the sauce becomes glossy and creamy.
4.Stir in chopped parsley leaves and season with salt and black pepper.
5.Finish with grated Parmesan cheese
