It’s a Battle of the Wine Casks! In today’s video, we are visiting my absolute favorite distillery, Edradour, to settle a debate: Which Italian red wine cask makes for better Scotch Whisky?
On one side, we have the rich and tannic Edradour 16 Year Old Barolo Finish. On the other, the fruity and complex Edradour 13 Year Old Super Tuscan Matured. Both are high-proof, natural color, and packed with that classic, oily Edradour funk—but only one can take the crown.
The Whiskies in Tonight’s Battle:
Edradour 16 Year Barolo Cask Finish:
Marriage of 3 casks at full cask strength – 56.1% ABV
46 Month finish in Barolo Casks
Highland Scotch
Edradour 13 Year Super Tuscan Matured:
Single Cask Super Tuscan Matured 13 years
Full Cask Strength 54.5% ABV
Highland Scotch

What an original and inspired Idea! Whoever helped you get to this idea is a great friend!
I like how the dog has free access to just roam and come check out whats going on. Never had either of these, but they surely are delish!
Lol the colour difference is huge. I'm afraid you need the black glasses.
I found my black glasses! I know the clear glasses aren't ideal but in future installments of this I promise the black will be used, CHEERS!
Imagine ignoring a cute little pup to talk to a camera
Oh no! I have to do an Edradour versus… Oh no!!!
Before watching the video:
I think the Super Tuscan will win this one.
After watching the video:
Welp. I was wrong.
Can't wait to (hopefully) try these sometime soon! Cheers man!
