Test Kitchen Night, across all Pomodori locations 🤍🍕
Thank you to everyone who came out to taste, learn, and celebrate with us!
We took a little trip through Italy:
• Abruzzo: Polpette Cacio e ova – A traditional dish built around Pecorino cheese and egg. The cuisine here relies heavily on cheese, eggs, and bread, rather than a lot of meat.
• Rome: Cacio e Pepe Pizza – Roman cuisine is all about restraint: good cheese, lots of black pepper, and not much else.
• Naples: Marinara Pizza – One of the oldest pizzas in Italy, from the birthplace of pizza, and even older than the Margherita pizza.
• Liguria: Trofie al Pesto Pizza – Ligurian cooking is fresh, herb-forward, and olive-oil driven; this one was inspired by a pasta dish traditionally served with potatoes and green beans.
• Piedmont: Amaretti Morbidi – Soft Italian cookies made with egg whites and ground nuts. Piedmont is famous for their hazelnuts, some of the best in the world!
