President Trump has once again threatened tariffs of up to 200 percent on French wine, putting pressure on an industry that relies heavily on imports. Wine importer Victor Schwartz, US Wine Trade Alliance president Ben Aneff, and California grape grower Stuart Spencer explain how tariffs could raise prices, reduce choice, hurt restaurants and distributors, and reshape both foreign and domestic wine markets. The story reveals why wine has become a pawn in a broader trade battle and what it could mean for American businesses and consumers.

Well, it’s a good thing that European wine sucks for the most part.
Champagne is the only thing that is still good.
Who.cares..American wines are.actually MUCH SUPERIOR..EVEN THE CHEAPER BRANDS
Nobody give a fcuk about wines it’s a category that is DEAD.
US consumers will adjust. The producers will take a big hit, and they will complain to their government. Once again tariffs work when you’re as big as US.
I’m sure Americans will survive even with pricier EU wines 🙄
Trump will be also hurting his Napa Valley winery. Nobody will be buying the Californian wine.😂😂😂
Ask bourbon makers how tariffs are helping their industry.
We have plenty of wine in the United States and it’s time for everyone to learn a valuable lesson about timelines and a valuable lesson about arrogance and stupidity
All of you are acting like children. It’s almost a joke for me to listen to UoY
I’ll be going over to Europe soon and I will find out how things are going when I’m there in the meantime, everybody will face tariffs
🐦🔥🌐⚓️♠️
There’s plenty of wine from Australia… Plenty of wine from Argentina… Plenty of wine from Mexico… There is wine from everywhere on this planet… Israel and I could continue so the Europeans need to get their act together and this channel needs to blend into a new timeline that I will make sure it takes place today

♦️ keep up the good work, commander-in-chief and of course, the amazing team in the White House and throughout the world carrying out the tasks we have at hand🍷🥖🍇
Bloomberg has asked people like Jamie Dimon and Eric Schmidt if they would run for President, and they have always said No. Right now, instead of the best and brightest, you have the populist, auditioning on the job. This is not the time or place for an apprentice. Not with a deficit spiralling out of control while other nations are queuing to join the BRICS. Liz Truss didn't predict her crisis, but she was warned by the guy who replaced her. Is the USA 🇺🇸 going to sleep-walk into the same quagmire?
What a bunch of idiots you all are Missouri in the United States of America, saved Francis wine industry in 1871. There is not one natural wine left in France. All the vineyards were destroyed by Phylloxera the grape louse epidemic. Bloomberg dropped the ball on this one.
Trump can shout whatever nonsense he wants. You cant sanction individual nations that are part of the EU. Its all or none.
Good News❤
LOL 3m subs and you only have 42 likes ROFL this is what you get for spreading fake news and copy striking people. LOLOL
European wines are mid compared to American ones anyways.
This is wrong, here in Europe wine industry is not substituted as US thinks 😮😢
The Thumbnail made me alcohol free
tantrum😂😂
There are many wine suppliers in the world.
People can always try wines from different countries such as Greece, Israel, South Africa etc.
