  1. The frescoes were breathtaking. I liked the simplicity of the attic bedroom. Quite an exploration, lads! Thank you.

  2. Absolutely love the attic space. The wood roofs and low ceilings with stunning artwork. Stay safe.

  3. It is saveable, just a lot of hard work and effort. The rrouble is inherentance tax or if no family the paper work to get it from the state is crazy and the red tape. This buildings need saving.

  4. Thank you both so very much for showing me such a beautiful home. Its is just gorgeous. Love from Texas, USA

  5. I always feel a sadness knowing these homes that were once filled with life are decaying but I also understand that the costs to fix them can be extravagent. I am so glad you document both the history and the vision of these beautiful homes, Lesley. ❤

  6. Sometimes there were different generations living under one house so this can be the reason for multiple kitchens etc.

  7. I would assume that the parlour’s fireplace having such a thin marble veneer is due to more than likely the need to rip out the marble to fulfill an order at some point. The money grew a bit thin.

  8. I would imagine the creditors must have threatened the family to either pay their bills or be subject to having their house, furniture, even clothing taken. The family, more than likely heavily demoralized, abandoned their home.
None of the creditors had the Gaul to possess the property, house etc. pity the family fled.

  9. With so many homeless around the world, you would think there would be a way to fix up these places for people to live!

  10. Now this could be some wonderful place to live. Theres some problems but it could come around. So beautiful from the ceiling to the woodwork. The antiques are great. You two did it again. This place is something else. It would cost a bit of money but it would be worth every dime. I wish someone with big bucks would come along and save this fantastic house. Thanks Lesley and Luke for showing us anouther great place. Stay safe and see you next week.

  11. Carolina living Italian approved, more into pirates and their ships than aristocracy personally but Lesley mustve changed my mind hot frescoes and hot guide thanks that tower is epic 😏🫶

  12. For a castle that size you would think that the fireplaces would be massive. They are so small they look lost in those huge rooms
