Welcome to a small village food market in Italy 🇮🇹

In this video, I’m taking you with me through a local village market – a place where everyday Italian life truly happens. Fresh produce, familiar faces, simple conversations, and the kind of food that comes straight from the land.

From colorful fruit stands to local meats, and seasonal specialties, this market reflects slow living, tradition, and the rhythms of a small Italian community. Nothing staged – just real food, real people, and a weekly ritual that hasn’t changed much over time.

If you love Italy, village life, local food, or authentic travel moments, this one’s for you 🤍

    Love you! 💞

  3. I feel like shopping with you would turn into laughing in the aisles and buying snacks we definitely did not need. 😅

  4. You have beautiful markets near your home. It's rare to see something like this in America these days.

  5. I love the fresh food markets here in Calabria! Fennel roasted with some EVOO is so,,,,good! Add some whole garlic bulbs, and roast them too! Avocados are grown here as well, but not many Calabrese eat them. We have planted some here in Reggio, can't wait to harvest them! The pompelmos are similar to a sweet grapefruit. Delicious! I would love to try some of the red eggplant! Which province are you in that they are grown locally? Thanks so much for sharing.. Ciao from the straight of Messina!

  6. Your international experience really shows because you are able to see what is special and valuable in your hometown. You would not be able to do that with the same sophistication, confidence and expertise if you did not have something to compare it to.

  7. I wish we had these local markets here in NYC. The reason why Italians live so long is fresh food, great, homemade wine and afternoon naps. I didn't know it got that chilly where you are, everyone is bundled up. Very enjoyable video showing the locals. They look like good, hard working folks.

  8. Везде на рынка пенсионеры. Когда их не станет, то и рынков не будет. Будем питаться с магазина гмо продуктами.

  9. Your videos resonate with me as my grandparents came from Villa San Giovanni. I'll be making my first trip to Calabria in March and will be based for 10 days in Scilla. I hope everyone survived Cyclone Harry safely, and pray that damage was minimal.

  10. Wow what lovely markets you have there❤ here in Amerixa you don't see much places like this here looks like a fun place to shop at ❤ when i was in Morocco for vacation i used to shop at markets like this thanks for sharing ❤

  11. how can i get the original audio, not the ai dub?

i love listening to italian people 🙂

  12. My city has a farmers market once a week on Saturday. Some fresh fruits and vegetables, but in America I think it’s mostly an opportunity for people to sell special items like homemade cookies and jams…just hobbyist type things. As fun as that is sometimes…I wish it was more like Italy 🇮🇹. Less fudge and cookies and just fresh seasonal foods.

  13. I love love love love love this video! Thank you for including the chat – including the Calabrese. I love hearing about excuses are made to move onto the next stall, talking about just having a little bit of something, then hearing that your father farts if he eats turnips. 🤣😉. Joking aside, I seriously loved this video. I too thought the Aubergene (Eggplant) was tomatoes! I kept shouting at the video at all sorts of green things "What is that?!". Thanks so much. Fantastic video. ps: Is your Italian course just spoken Italian (hope so) or includes Grammar?

  14. Not sure what these people mean by use your own voice…. that is her own voice what are u all talking about:)…wow avocado are expensive in calabria they are 3 for 1 dollar here

  15. ايتها الحسناء الجميلة .. انا احبك واحب ضحكاتك واحب عيونك .. سلام لك من درنة ليبيا

  16. Another beautiful video! …and yes, I switched the audio to original. It's not the same without your lovely voice. 🇮🇹
