Easy Italian Drunken Noodles 🇮🇹🍝

Ingredients

12 oz wide egg noodles or pappardelle

1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, diced

1 bell pepper, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

½ cup red wine (or beef broth)

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt & black pepper, to taste

¼ cup fresh parsley or basil, chopped

Grated Parmesan, for serving

Instructions

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.

Add onion and bell pepper; sauté 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.

Pour in diced tomatoes and red wine. Add Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Simmer uncovered for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened and flavorful.

Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until fully coated.

Garnish with fresh herbs and Parmesan. Serve hot.
