Packed full of property tips and advice from people that have bought houses and live in Italy. This is part two of my open house from Corinaldo, Le Marche, where subscribers visited to help me work on my renovation.
House viewings in Tuscany, Le Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, Puglia and Lazio all lead toward Andrew finding his dream house in two weeks. He tells us how he and his wife did it and what you should look for in an historic hilltop town with an active piazza.
The spirits were high and the natural stone walling continued with fantastic results.
There is something Helen shares that was new to me. Hugelkultur raised beds – Helen will explain all.
This is part two covering when visitors came to help. Angus, the two Andrew’s, Jemma, Helen and Simone – thank you so much for all you did and helped with. You all created a memory that will never fade.
If you like to skip around, see the named chapters for the sections that you are interested in.
As always, thank you for watching and supporting. The buy me a coffee or wine gifts and super thanks on YouTube are helping a great deal. The gifts all goes into the renovation and land.
Contact me with any questions and I look forward to hearing from you in the comments.
Cheers,
Richard.

Thank you for all the kind messages from part 1. I will do this again so keep an eye out on my website and newsletter for date options and types of projects we can tackle. It will not all be heavy lifting like this first crew of superstars lapped up!
If you like to stick around to the end will see short message that shows what this all meant to me. (Not a hook but a logical place to edit this in).
Thanks all for the support, messages and gifts. This journey is life changing and it is all thanks to you for being here. I hope to meet more of you over the coming months and years. (This is a longer one but so I have named the chapters as best I can for those that like to skip around.)
Great video and what a fantastic bunch of people
Are you paying them or are they strictly vollunteering?
Beyond inspiring episode. Love the camaraderie, the community and the encouraging stories for all of us who want to live the dream. 🤩💯 Summer / fall would be sublime for helpers .. that rain in November 😆🤗
What a week and with the help of some like minded, really nice people, you've managed to get loads done. Well done Rich, another great video 👍
6 people on site. Excellent stuff Richard. Must have a chat re your mate in the restaurant with family property? Love a bidget rather than paper. Although for €700 get a Japanese toilet which are incredible & leave the bottom refreshed!!
Well done all of you…thanks to everyone who helped you 😊
Gosh this is a great video love the demijohns and love the sky and love the friendships
Well said Richard. You nailed it.
I have enjoyed watching you go from a few hundred subscribers to where this has ended up today 👍👍👍 enjoy more worry less 🙏🇬🇧
Looks like an aloe plant that was as big as a washing machine… so glad you saved it!
Many hands make work light! Love seeing progress.
Can you please give me the manufacturers name of your dome canopy. Thanks
What a great episode!!! like minded people volunteering to help with your dreams!!! loved watching!!! It shows that there are still so many wonderful people out there who are genuine and selfless!!! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Wow! Many hands make lite work, as the saying goes. Brilliant idea crowdsourcing the landscaping. You must be pleased with the progress! I enjoy the updates, down here in Brisbane.
So good to see all the progress outside despite the conditions. You showed a Geranium plant amongst those plants you saved in a pot. You could take dozens of cuttings from that one Geranium plant to fill in the bank with. There will be info online about when and how to take cuttings from your Geranium and any other plants you already have. Cheers.
Great videos! New friends, hard work, and great results.
i will never understand prioritization of the outside when you still have doors and windows on-site to be installed, but i will always have a blast watching how you do your thing 🙂 the two parts with helpers were splendid despite the terrible weather. god, i do hate mud
What an amazing bunch ❤. You manage to get together all doers. Sorry don't want to sound disrespectful but have to mention that they are practically all white bumers with similar culture and background.
What a great video, there are some wonderful people about , very kind .
I’m curious about whether that “vegetable box” is made with pressure treated wood or that it just has a green tint.
To combat clay soil when you’re adding plants dig a deeper hole add some compost before the plant and then add the plant with more compost on top overtime. It will alter the clay.
Great help and great progress!
Stagger the joints!
Aww what lovely people, well done guy's.
Please, please add electrical, low voltage wiring at a minimum. You have so many features that deserve highlighting. Ideally you should run full electrical so you have outlets at the pizza kitchen. Just know that once you finish your project it will be too late. Love your work. Thank you.
you need to invest in camping chairs so your 'helpers' can sit!!!
What are the names of ther plants that you planted on the bank? Great Job btw start to looking good.
