Au Gratin Potatoes 👩🏻‍🍳🥔🧄

Ingredients:
5 Tbsp butter
2 tbsp of olive oil
1/4 cup AP flour
1 cup of milk (we used whole milk )
1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
1 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 shallot (chopped)
4 garlic cloves (chopped)
1/4 tsp of Italian seasoning
1/4 cup of sour cream
1 tsp of chicken bouillon
1 package of cheese (we used cheddar cheese) gruyere cheese is a great option.

Steps:
Drizzle a little olive oil into a pan and add the butter. Let it melt, then sauté the shallot and garlic until fragrant. Stir in the flour and cook briefly to form a roux. Gradually add the milk, heavy cream, and sour cream, stirring constantly. Season with a pinch of salt, pepper, and 1 tsp of chicken bouillon, then add the remaining seasonings. Mix until smooth and slightly thickened.
Gently fold in the potatoes, being careful not to break them. Transfer everything to a baking dish, adjusting quantities as needed. Bake for 1 hour at 375, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the texture is to your liking.
