Forgotten italian classic: polpo alla luciana (napoli)

Before traveling to Italy to record new recipes, I want to go back and give tribute to four dishes that meant more than views, they’re the ones that made all of this possible.

Polpo alla Luciana (Napoli)

In Naples, octopus cooks in its own water. No tricks or rushing, because time and trust will get the job done. Tomatoes, olives, and capers melt into a glossy sauce that tastes like the sea itself. Served with bread or pasta, it’s proof that the simplest pots often hold the deepest soul.

  2. Why not try put a bit of effort while speaking in English? It seems like all the nations try apart from the Italians, it's really painful to listen especially if you're purposefully adding an 'a' at the end of every other word..

  3. I sense the requirement to have patience as the thread that runs through all or most of these posts.

  5. I went to norcia in Umbria like 10 years ago. And they drank this stuff called lucano. Is this dish and that alcohol from the same place?

  6. This series made me realize that Italians has so many seafood cuisines! Some seafoods (i.e. squids and octopuses) aren't my likings but I gotta say this looks amazing 🤤

Say, can you make something chicken-y and beef-y? I wanna put it on my "Will Cook Later" playlist 👀

  7. I learned one thing from your shorts: Italian cooking = cooking with patience and dedication
