While in Palermo it just happened to be the International Gelato Festival! What an amazing surprise! We heard that Sicily is where gelato originated so we had planned to try some anyway, but now we had the WORLD’S BEST gelato to pick from! Happy Days!
As part of the festival you had to buy a card and put credit on it, we got €10 credit which was enough to taste 10 different flavours.

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! We plan to travel the world for a year, see as much as possible, meet as many people as we can, and most importantly MAKE OUR MONEY LAST!
When we left Australia we decided to make travel vlogs to share our journey with our friends and family back home. We also love watching other travel vloggers on YouTube, in particular Kara and Nate, The Endless Adventure, The Way Away, and Flying The Nest.
