  1. Cleary – if you can't see the veggies, they poof and disappear!

..if that only counted for sweet treats, too 😂

  2. so confused as to how people think that blending foods ruins their nutrition as if their teeth and digestive system doesn't do the same damn thing.

however it is hilarious to me to imagine these people desperately trying to deep throat whole vegetables lmao

  3. Eating whole raw which i personally do little of.. lets your body break down the nutrients naturally.. cooking does the breakdown which in turn does not let the body do its job n very little gets absorbed hence more waste

  4. I think they may not know what nutrients are exactly. Because all food has nutrients regardless of how good it is for you. And many act like if you'll bake dough and vegetables in a shape of pizza they indeed evaporate.

  5. Any cutting of fruits and vegetables breaks cells therefore causes some nutrients to be lost, and the smaller the pieces cut, the more nutrients are lost, but regardless, it's not enough to warrant never cutting foods in any way. Pretty much the same concepts as heating and freezing foods.

  6. I’m autistic and this is the way I can eat veggies. And still only some “safe” veggies: carrots, celery, onion, garlic, zucchini. Anything else I will vomit up. Hiding veggies gives me any nutrition, which is better than none!

  7. Thank you for including the freezablitity! I'm currently looking for freezer friendly food! Not everyone includes the freezability !

  8. Incorrect the fiber does not remain intact. Blending rruncts the fibers and reduces there effectiveness. The rest of what you said is correct though

  9. They misunderstood a concern some people had about smoothies back in the day. Their concerns were about oxidation and rapid sugar absorption due to broken fiber. It popularized by discussions contrasting smoothies with whole fruit, but experts largely agree blending preserves most nutrients, just changing their form for easier digestion, though consuming immediately minimizes minor oxidation.

  10. That doesn't even make the tiniest little bit of sense. Why would changing the texture of an already cooked food delete nutrients?

  11. Not true, you break down fiber it decreases its ability to lower carbohydrate value. In other words, keep your food whole and for each ground fiber you drop a gram of carbohydrate. Don’t believe me look at the bottle of juice.

  12. This probably won't happen, but could the recipe still work without the feta, or is there an alternative to cheese in this recipe ?
