This is a story that documents my week-long road trip through Iran – one of my favorite countries on earth.

Please note that this video was filmed and edited months before the recent escalation between Israel and Iran. While the timing is challenging, I believe it’s essential to share stories that highlight the people, culture, and humanity of a country, especially when headlines focus mostly on conflict.

My heart goes out to everyone affected by violence — from the mosques of Tehran, to the synagogues of Tel Aviv, to the streets of Gaza — and I continue to hope for peace in the Middle East.

Iran is an absolutely amazing country, and I hope you will watch this video with compassion and an open mind!

  3. هل تعتقد كونك امريكي دخلت ايران بدون رفقه و مراقبه من الحرس الثوري الإيراني

  4. My friend, there is no such place as kurdistan. Or if there is, it's not in Türkiye.

  5. Türkiye topraklarını olmayan bir ülkenin toprağı olarak göstermek tam bir coğrafya cahili kasıtlı yayın yapan bir insan olduğunu gösteriyor.

  6. Not a single word on the condition of the lgbt community, good job drew. Everything is beautiful for the normies, as always

  10. Media bener² membuat propaganda yang sangat kejam! Mengira iran adalah megara berbahaya. Padahal sebenarnya TIDAK!!!
Saya sangat benci dengan berita yang terlalu di lebih-lebihkan…. Tidak netral dan selalu menjatuhi.

  11. Iran I don't think the U.S. universities are actually better than many U.S. universities.
And it's not the way the news always says, for example, war and bloodshed and things like that, Iran is really an advanced country

  12. i was in Iran in the 1970s. Meshed, Isfahan, it was wonderful. But Tehren was a bit rough and tumble. Hectic. There seemed to be a lot of chaotic tension around the huge impact of western culture slamming in when the oil was gushing, a few years before the Shah was overthrown. It was wild. Afghanistan was very wonderful. I nearly stayed there for life.

  13. I just want to say how much I admire what Americans have given to the world—your creativity, technology, and imagination shaped so many childhoods, including mine. Through your movies, games, and stories, you taught us how to live, dream, and create—even while I grew up in a country that didn’t show us much of the world. Thank you for inspiring so many minds like mine.

  14. 29:44 this part of your documentary is very annoying to Iranians. there has never been a country called Kurdistan. Kurds are one inseparable and loving tribe of Iran for thousands of yearsz they all know themselves as Iranian. There is only an armed group of Kurds wanting separation.
