  1. Alton sabered that bottle but there is NO footage because we didn’t know it was going to happen! That's literally just how he casually opens Champagne. I just hear a clink, pop and a chuckle from the kitchen. Genuine mad lad. — Brian from AB's team.

  2. Hey Alton, have you and Adam Savage ever done any kind of a crossover thing?
It just dawned on me watching you today how much you remind me of Adam Savage.
I mean, looks a little. I’m going more on the way you deliver the passion you have for whatever you’re talking about.
That also Suttle spark of OCD we all dismissed as perfectionism.

    Does anybody else see it?

  3. I disagree about cheddar with eggs but we are on the same page about the champagne. A bottle I buy to "split" with my girl knowing she doesn't want any haha

  4. Feeling so justified after hearing”What hideous monster would throw out bacon drippings” I always carry so much guilt about having this glass jar with bacon drippings in it.

  5. As I understand it, the "carbonaris" were charcoal burners, people whose job required them to disappear into the mountains for weeks at a time, cutting trees down, burying them, and burning them smothered which makes charcoal. This was handy for rebels and conspirators and la resistenza, the folks most likely to feed hungry Allied soldiers first. It was the name of a 19c. Royalist secret society for similar reasons.

  6. I'm trying to remember who it was that told me to "NEVER boil pasta without AT LEAST a gallon of water"…

  7. I've been watching food creators on YouTube for years now, how am I only just now finding out that one of the best chef's to ever walk into a kitchen has a Channel??? 🤯🤯🤯
