To make it truly premium, I ordered a huge box of natural wood veneers for about $60 — different species, colors, and textures.
In this video I’m opening the box, testing the veneers on birch plywood, preparing the base layer, and fitting one of the wine regions on top.
I’ve never worked with veneer before, so this is a full experiment… and part of the journey toward a luxury edition of the map.
