As a Canadian, hearing 'i didn't grow up having mac and cheese with my thanksgiving meal' was a culture shock. That implies that it's a normal traditional food for Americans??? 😭 And Canadians are known for their KD consumption 😹
First of all for a real good old fashioned mac and cheese, you don't need 50 different kinds of cheese, you don't need half of the ingredients that these new internet people are using! It hurts me, when they say, "My Grandma " did it like this 😔, first of all most older Grandmothers wouwould have never used whipping topping in mac and cheese 😢
I just don’t get why this got dubbed as HER “Tinis” Mac and cheese- this is the bones of a very standard non special msc an cheese people just don’t get out much
I realized about 10 years ago that black people has the Mac for Thanksgiving whereas non black people will go for mashed potatoes. The Mac looks good. 😊❤
If the noodles come out too mushy look up how to parcook the noodles for the frozen mac so it finishes cooking through when you pop it into the over from the freezer and can come out just right. But its a texture preference.
I LOVE cheese, and even for me that’s way too much cheese. Something I have probably never said in my life. My stomach hurts just looking at it. I’ll skip this one but hope it works out for you.
Mac & Cheese was NOT a dish we EVER made for thanksgiving ever. When my fiance and I started dating, the first time he came over for thanksgiving he asked where theav & Cheese was. My entire family was so confused. Until that day, we had never considered it a thanksgiving side. The following year my family made it for him and it was the FIRST thing FINSIHED that year 😂 We've done it every year now for the last 6 years. My fiance and my family are very happy about the outcome. Lmao. We are a Mexican household from Texas, my family LOVES Mac & Cheese in general we just never considered it for thanksgiving. We've never gone back though! Lol.
Bon appetit. I freeze Mac n cheese all of the time. I live alone and am so used to cooking for a crowd. I still cook that way and set up freezer meals also. ❤
I tried making her macaroni cheese last year but im in scotland and I went wrong somewhere trying to convert cups to grams and I ended up with way too much cheese 😭 but other than my kitchen counters being full of grated cheese it was lovely 😂
Blimey! You all have Mon, Tues & Wed to remember to buy cranberry sauce! A frugal tip, they often reduce it immediately after Thanksgiving so stock up for Xmas!

I froze this recipe last year with my leftovers after thanksgiving and it reheated perfectly. 👍
Looks really really good. 🎉❤😊
Cheeeeeeeeeeeeese ❤!!!!!
Why two shorts instead of one with the results?

Love your shreader!! My knuckles have not forgiven me from the last time I used my box shreader!!
I’m from Georgia and baked mac and cheese is mandatory on thanksgiving! Hahah It’s never too late to start a new tradition! 😂❤
i have never had mac and cheese on thanksgiving, i didn’t even know it was so common until reading these comments 😅
If you see in freezer section at grocery store yes you can freeze it!
Homemade baked macaroni is the best!
My aunt use ritz crackers for the topping
I freeze Mac n cheese every year! It just needs some cream, milk, or water in reheating to be sure nothing separates
You guys. Something tells me this lady loves freezer meals….
Never heard of Tini. 😊
That looks the only thing edible on thanksgiving 😂
Nope. No mac n chese on any holiday.

I hate the smell of her recipe. I made it a couple of weeks ago.
It tasted alright but there is a thing as to much of a good thing.

For some menus, adding green chiles to mac and cheese is delicious.
I wouldn’t even show up if there wasn’t any macaroni.

My daughters have incorporated mac n cheese into our Thanksfamily meal. Not a fan of garlic in it but good otherwise.
My mother grew up southern so we always had thanksgiving even if I grew up in the PNW. I still adopt southern cooking just because of the nostalgia.
I'm not even lactose intolerant and I'm already scared, but I know that mac and cheese is good.
Blimey! Looks too gooey! But the taste is the most important thing. 🤷🏽♀️

😭 Pls clean your stove
If you find it in the freezer section of your grocery store, you can definitely freeze it at home 👍
Questioning how much it cost to make her recipe?
It will freeze, but the macaroni will turn into mush texture (heavily overcooked). Fully cooked frozen pasta is never good. Or most pastas, actually.
What's Thanksgivings?
We always had Mac and cheese and lasagna 😂
It looks really good. Thanks for sharing.
For science you have to eat lots of mac and cheese. I don’t make the rules.
Looks delicious.
@Liam i like it !
I would shit myself with one bite
On the edge of my seat for part 2!!! Did it come back to life well??
I havent actually looked up the recipe, but no one ever says what to do with the other half of the seasoning 😭
