  1. Chicken Noodle Soup

    -1/2 Onion chopped
    -Chopped carrots equal to onion
    -Chopped celery equal to onion
    -3 chicken breasts
-Extra wide "no yolks" noodles 1 bag
    -Heavy cream 1/2 cup
-chicken broth (enough to cover) about 10 cups
    -Parsley to taste
    -Sage to taste
    -Rosemary to taste
    -Thyme to taste
    -Olive oil 2 tbsps

    1) Cook Chicken with seasonings, chop veggies to preference size while you wait. I use one full onion medium sized and cut my carrots and celery to match in equal parts
    2) Pull chicken out and add oil To pan. At low medium heat add carrots and celery and stir frequently til slightly soft
    3) Add onions and seasonings to carrots and celery and cook til onions caramelize
    4) Add chicken back to pot and stir in, let them marinade a few mins and get to know each other
    5) Pour in entire bag of noodles, then cover with chicken broth (or water and use chicken cubes like I did)
    6) BRING TO A BOIL if you don't the noodles will taste off…. Not sure why but they do. It must come to a boil and stir it occasionally, then kill the heat
    7) Once done taste and add seasonings to desired taste. Add heavy cream and stir before serving for that extra MOM touch
    8) Now for how you handle leftovers, this is gonna be one thick soup the first day, so add chicken broth to pan next day to fill pot back up and this pot will feed a LARGE amount of folks. Just might need another splash of cream if you add a lot of broth

  2. I made chicken noodle soup last night. K used chicken thighs as well. But i cooked them for a little bit and then let them simmer in the soup. The end result was that the chicken was self shredding

  3. To jazz it up, add a 1/4 cup or so of sherry wine to your veggies before adding water. And bay leaves (don’t forget to remove before eating). And some grated Parmesan after the cream. You don’t need a lot. But I recommend the real stuff from Italy. It’s worth it. It’s a super popular recipe by I believe either Paula Dean or Martha Stewart. If you want to waste more effort, you can do what she does and use a whole chicken in it. Tastes amazing but is not great for a quick, easy weekday dinner.

  4. Try a little sour cream in for that silky smooth roll of the spoon texture. Sour cream is my favorite stew or soup or pasta addition

  5. “If you want flavor you’re going to have to make thyme for that “ 😅
You are blessed, so is your family 😀
    ✝️🙏💟

  6. Getting called a super dad is one of the highest compliments you can get. That was so cute.

  7. No one else catching the beginning saying "my first wife" ? New to channel thought this was a spoof at first against "first wife' like those other videos out there men having to cook a d whatnot

  8. Eww nothing, Justin! 😄 That’s a working Dutch oven in a functional kitchen, not a prop. Don’t do yourself that way (the internet will regardless but they don’t know as much as they think and we don’t see those folks, anyhow). My husband and I love your videos. Thanks for all the hunger-inducing ideas! 😊

  9. Looks yummy, reminds me of my aunts chicken noodle soup and she loved those noodles and I do too because of her. Rip Auntie.. memories of better times.

  10. Awe!!!! "You're a super daddy!" So cuuuuuuute!!! Take that to heart. Sit back and think about how the kids see you. Put yourself in their shoes. What a blessing!!!

  11. I dont think the lighting is terrible and if you like to be seen then just continue to cook on the countertop I’m not sure it matters I’m sure most everyone is more curious to see what is being made so it doesn’t bother me if you just show what you are cooking people that watch you will know you are there especially if you start the video off talking 🤍

  12. For some people, your face may be a non-negotiable because you kinda resemble John Ritter

  13. I made that yesterday, you know you can put the Mirepoix in there all together? I added the cream, and the soup separated. You may want to temper it first, otherwise, the fats break down, it’s still edible. It just doesn’t look very pleasing. I’ve worked as a chef before, so I don’t need anybody telling me that I’m wrong. Just putting it out there for people who may not know or who don’t cook a lot. But it was delicious.

  14. Hearing ur little princess acknowledging you as a “super dad” is all the recipe I need to know. Can everyone plz stop cutting onions near me 🥹😭
