    I've seen about a dozen videos on this machine and NO ONE mentioned that you can program the shot time! Thankfully, they taste good, but my shots are waaaaaay to quick.

    Is it possible to save the settings and make an americano out of the double espresso shot? Like to let it filling the cup until it reaches the bigger volume? Or the double espresso shot will always be only for 30ml max? Sorry I am super new to this and try to find out how it works

    2:18 what's annoying about that little handle is that the machine has to stand an additional two inches off the wall, rather than being flush up against it. Plus at some point, that's going to break off. A recessed handle would be a better design. Quite the design flaw.

    5:34 Thank you for saying the word 'button' correctly. Why in the name of god young people pronounce it 'budden' is baffling. I find it annoying af, as you can probably guess from the fact that I even have to make this comment.

    I thought this looks small enough. It could go in one of those pieces of luggage that stand up you know with the rollers and then you could take it into your hotel room with you. I think they look great. I have the two of the Bambino plus, but they are larger than this one. I don’t use that steam wand I make beautiful coffee and enjoy just half and half in my espresso

    I'd get a espresso machine w/out a wand because I find the bodum frother makes great cream in half the amount of time.

    I just got the plus model. Still, for the steam wand, I think this or the plus is the best option at home 4 years on? For the steam wand that is, and honestly for entry level home espresso too? I do think the wider market or just manufacturing itself has the ability to undercut though if it wants to, but the price doesn't really need to get lower I think the market even at this level wants more quality than a lower price. I even looked at 2 options for stand alone steam wands, this machine's steam wand is still a better choice than either.

    People point out annoying reviews of only the plus model, the machines are extremely similar. It's just 2 differences – the auto milk feature and back flushing – also (not related to the machine itself) possibly some minor accessory differences which may depend on region and time / year / SKU. The plus is also slightly bigger and also holds slightly more water because it's wider. Back flushing is the main reason to get the plus unless you expect to use the auto milk feature.
    So generally the non-plus model is good enough but the plus is only marginally more expensive, the plus is also slightly more likely to have something go wrong because it's more complex.

    What nobody explains is what the number on the water filter means and what it means by "in" and "out" on the 1-12 dial. The manual says something about current month but that doesn't make sense? I have soft water anyway so might just remove it.

    Hi, great video.. I recently chose this model as my 20yr work anniversary gift. I am new to the espresso making world. What milk works the best and what non dairy milk is also an alternative. I am excited to start using it .. your video was very informative and has me excited for when I get my machine 😀

    Plz help me l can't adjust the calibration like yield because if l press the for calibration but the water is coming until 1 minute and like 100 ml so how to adjust the water from portafilter

    I found how to dial in my perfect ratio on my own. I do not own any special scales or other equipment. I fill the portofilter slightly rounded over the edge. I compress it until it is slightly under the edge, and I press for a double shot and then do it again, thus a quadruple shot.

    I like that they put the plastic drain spouts up inside the aluminum basket where they are less likely to get damaged. Some of the others I've used have the plastic parts hanging out the bottom of the basket.
