Did you know that purple cabbage (what we call cavolo cappuccio in Italy) is one of the best fall vegetables for gut health and immunity?Rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber, it’s a natural way to boost your immune system, fight inflammation, and improve digestion.. all while eating something colorful and delicious.
In Italy, we love using seasonal ingredients, and right now red cabbage is at its sweetest. Lightly cooked, it becomes tender, easier to digest, and full of that earthy flavor that makes Mediterranean cooking so comforting in autumn. It’s one of those Italian healthy recipes that feel cozy, rustic, and nourishing.. the kind of food that helps you slow down, eat better, and feel balanced.
Try pairing it with apples, nuts, and creamy cheese for a wholesome meal that’s simple but packed with benefits.Whether you’re into healthy comfort food, easy vegetarian recipes, or just looking to eat more seasonal Mediterranean dishes, this one belongs on your table.
Because eating well isn’t about restriction.. it’s about listening to what your body needs. And this season, it’s asking for cabbage. 🥬✨
Stay tuned.. the recipe’s coming next.

Did you know that you are one of the best things that happened to me? 😂
Fantastico
The purple cabbage industry in Italy needs to pay you for that amazing "spot" or "ad" for this cabbage. I cook it with apple, onion, a little sugar, and vinegar, and it is delicious. You have just reminded me to buy one!
You seem so sweet and positive! Love the energy from your videos. Keep it up! 👍🏻
