Thanks for this! Much like you, I've been trying to get my non-vino friends to get into wine! I love this system, it's a great crawl before you walk approach to wine! You basically gave us all a blueprint for a party to throw to bring people into our wine cult! Great video as always!
One of your best videos yet! I think you're beginning to hit your stride. Love the idea for getting non wine people into wine and the progression. I laughed when I saw vinho verde and protocolo, two wines that started me on my wine journey years ago. Great minds…
This is incredibly useful for a non-wine person like me, thank you so much! I can see myself becoming a wine lover with your guidance!! I've already looked up a wine dealer in my city and I'll get a little assortment ready for the weekend, based on the information you once again provided in such a pleasant way. Keep it up brother, you absolutely ROCK!!!
Great one Dustin!
Your list is spot on..
Marlborough SB,Vinho Verde and Lambrusco are also my go-to's for non wine drinkers..
Especially Lambrusco!
I have found that it tends to blow people's minds because most have not even heard of a sparkling red and then it is so damn tasty..
In fact,it has been far too long since my last Lambrusco!
* thank you so much for not including Meomi in this list!
Great video, thank you. I appreciate the specific wine recommendations under $10.
So happy to see Lambrusco included in this list!
Amazing video…I recognized the Sauv blanc and the ED. Both are really really nice.
I wished I started like this
Luckily I had a wine with a friend who invited me to a restaurant with a cellar in middle of Paris which was nice but I couldn’t understand why it was nice. Côte rotie domaine jamet syrah 2015 which was excellent despite not knowing a single thing about wine at the time.
He told me a well balanced wine is the key to a great wine. After that I started on Shiraz from Australia then it was on to Tuscany Italy which got me hooked!😂
Great content as usual!
So fun. It did feel a little like cheating to have a Costco label in the middle of the list, haha! Loved how you talked about each of these. Also, I think if folks land on Tempranillo/Tinto Roriz, they could happily mingle with weird wine people and enjoy their glass forever. 🙂
I really enjoy your wine reviews and your recommendations. The vinho verde is a real surprise. We've been to Portugal and vinho verde is a light white wine that my wife and I totally enjoy.
love to see more high cp wines!
This is also incredibly useful for a wine lover that is just trying to buy a cheap bottle of quality wine! Thank you, I found this informative as well as hilarious!
I am the anomaly. I did not enjoy wine until I tried a young nebbiolo, and have been chasing tannin and acid ever since. I also did not enjoy coffee until I tried it black. 😂
Adult grape juice. That's what I like.
But bad grapes on the vine don't really matter, it all ferments and has the same sugar amount in it to turn to alcohol
Dirt cheap wines don't grown in cheap dirt 😛
wow
Great…helpful and fun! Thanks
