Monteverro wine estate is located in the village of Capalbio in southern Tuscany, near the Mediterranean sea. It is a region full of culture, authenticity and tradition combining vines, olive trees and cypresses trees: a real postcard. The slopes are steep and the land (soils and subsoils) is one of the most mineral-rich (many ferruginous zones) around the world. Its Terroir consists of red clay with large stones.
It is thanks to result of a great passion that Monteverro able to express its character in each bottle a year, under the benevolence of Matthew Taunay (the winemaker) and the famous french consultant oenologist: Michel Rolland. The management and technical team works hard to ensure that this property of the Tuscan become a “first great growth” of Tuscany. Monteverro is definitely a great wine from Italy. This is a wine that you see, smell and taste.
