Pleased to find out I've been in two of the 5 recommended restaurants and shame that l'Aromatario is temporarily closed.
Aside from the fabulous food I have found that drinking the Barolos young can be entirely satisfying (rather than feeling the need to dig deep in the cellar – in La Morra and Monforte, mostly) – and then, too, there are so many wonderful Dolcettos that you will rarely see outside the zone.
