Unlike the classic Italian version, Jollibee created a sweet, kid-friendly spaghetti using tomato sauce, hotdogs, and cheese making it a true Filipino comfort food.
This bold twist didn’t just stand out, it became one of Jollibee’s most loved dishes worldwide.

Jollibee Spaghetti has to be the best Filipino Spaghetti’s Out There
But nothing beats your Filipino Mom’s Spaghetti
Italians still won't accept that
They don't put sugar and banana ketchup, they use spaghetti sauce and condensed milk.
Banana ketchup on Filipino-style spaghetti didn't originate from Jollibee…😒
It’s called FILIPINO-STYLE SPAGHETTI for a reason. Jollibee markets it for KIDS. So think before you comment…especially if you’re an adult. The Filipinos will NEVER ask for it to be compared to italian spaghetti. We like our sauce a little creamier and sweeter.
Every household has their own way of cooking their sweet sauce. For me personally, I don’t use just banana ketchup. It’s a combination of tomato sauce and a little Jufran 😅 and I definitely don’t use condensed milk. I use sugar and a little evaporated milk for the creamy aftertaste. The kids love it and it’s a hit or miss for the adults…but I don’t make it for adults, it’s just for kids. I make a different batch of sauce for adults and that’s savory and tangy.
Make it your own! The Filipino did and it works for them… 🤷🏻♀️ if you think it’s disgusting, then don’t eat it.
I don't think there's a sugar.just a banana catsup is sweet enough
I throw to bin because I’m firm on Italian side
wrong story, research soe more
Ganun talaga. Fight fire with fire
jolibee made spaghetti sweet because of kids, bec children love sweets and they celebrate their birthdays in jolibee, like a party event
Wrong, its cuz there was a tomato shortage, so they used banana ketchup instead, which has the red hue but alot sweeter than normal tomatoes, but the filipinos loved the taste, especially the children, who in turn went with their children to share that memory
Wrong. The Jolli spaghetti is based on the filipino spaghetti recipe.
Authentic slop
It is sweet but has a smokey peppery taste too.
Its not original by jollibee
Its from world war 2
And the pinoy spaghetti is a pilipino original tradition food
Disgusting, I am Filipino and I don't eat that shit
Nobody put condensed milk on Filipino spaghetti sauce 50 years ago….
the cheese is enough to add creaminess & saltiness.
filipino spaghetti exist before jolli spaghetti is😊
I love Jollibee I'm from Philippines❤
pinoy spaggetti is the origin of all fastfood spags. its been part of filipino dish since the american colonial era… ITS NOT JOLLIBEES
it started in 1940's when american colonized the philippines

You made it look like Jollibee made the recipe of that sweet spaghetti, No, that is how Filipino spaghetti is and was. Its sweet bec of the ketchup made from banana, not bec Jollibee invented banana ketchup.
the sweet spaghetti is an acquired taste…because im used to eating sweet spaghetti i dont think i will like italian spaghetti..
Who cares about Italian..
let them cook their pasta..our pasta is this doesnt matter whether you like it or not
Right. It's a Filipino Spaghetti not Italian Spaghetti.
Italian spaghetti is a lot healthier since it is tomato based. Filipino is mixed tomato and banana ketchup. It taste a lot better.
Always use the term "Filipino style spaghetti" because if spaghetti only our Italian friends would assume that Filipinos are destroying their traditional pasta and we don't like that to happen
Filipino spaghetti exist since after WW2
and not original from Jollibee and Filipino spaghetti is a birthday, and holiday traditional dish for Filipino
Theres no sugar in Filipino spaghetti, just the banana ketchup
Wrong information
