Just look at that caramelization on the sausage and the beautifully browned onions and peppers—cooked low and slow for maximum flavor!

INGREDIENTS:
10 links Italian sausage (sliced in halves)
3 red peppers
3 bell peppers, sliced
3 onions, sliced
4 medium potatoes, diced
(1) 15 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup granulated onion powder
1/4 cup EVOO, salt, and pepper
1 loaf Italian bread

DIRECTIONS:
In a large baking dish, place the sausage, onions, peppers, potatoes, salt & pepper, onion powder, top with crushed tomatoes, and pour EVOO on top. Bake all ingredients together. Cover with foil and bake low and slow for 1 1/2 hours at 300°F, then uncover and cook an additional 30 minutes at 350°F.
For the salad, combine tomatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Serve sausage and peppers with salad and Italian bread.
