Turin, Italy, is PACKED with things to see and do, whether you’re visiting for the history, art, architecture, food, wine, chocolate, coffee, or bicerin (a sweet coffee treat explained in the video!). To quote one of our viewers: “Turin would be a top tourist destination in any country except Italy.” We couldn’t have said it better.
The first capital of Italy and the capital of the Piedmont region, Turin (or Torino in Italiano) is grand and elegant, with its spacious piazzas, Baroque architecture, extensive arcades, and Art Nouveau-era cafes. It’s also an Italian industrial powerhouse, home to such world-renowned companies as Fiat, Ferrero (Nutella), and Lavazza.
In this video, we check out Turin’s top sights (including the iconic Mole Antonelliana) and spend some time with Davide of Podcast Italiano on Youtube. Davide shows us around his city, from the ugliest building to the prettiest viewpoint.
