In this episode, we keep working on our off-grid cabin while waiting for a bit of sunshine.
I take on a new woodworking off grid project: building a tiny rustic closet using reclaimed wood and parts of an old cabinet. It’s a simple but functional way to organize our clothes with a natural touch.
We’ve also installed a small fridge and decided to remove the first solar panels we ever mounted on the cabin front.
Nothing is wasted here—those panels and wood are now reused to build a cover for the potable water tank.
Meanwhile, Monika prepares something special with a taste of Italian cooking, right here in the mountains.

Ogni anno mio marito mette un paio di Zucchini in prato che bastano per due famiglie che siamo qua. Pasta di zucchini la faccio in un paio di modi diversi (e non solo pasta), ma quando la faccio con salsa di pomodori ed e tanta, metto in piccoli vasetti di gelato e congelo in frigo per inverno. 😅
Vi auguro un giorno di fare li una piccola serra e di mettere qualche verdure, anche zucchini. 😊
