In this video, we unbox and set up the brand NEW MiiCoffee Apex V2 and the Eureka Zero 65 AP to go with it. The Apex represents an excellent value in espresso making, with a PID controlled boiler and thermoblock for steaming. This new version also includes an adjustable OPV, which people were missing on the V1. The Zero 65 by Eureka is also highly anticipated, a cost effective single doser and all purpose burrs. Let us see how the unboxing experience for each goes, and whether or not these are a good pair.

  1. I’ve had my AP 65 for a over a month now. Close the metal slider on the hopper before you use the bellows. This is a near zero retention grinder if done correctly. I also go a bit finer with an 18 g dose 4-6 setting from 0 on the big dial depending the bean freshness. I really like this grinder, actually just vacuumed it out tonight.

  2. Watching from the States. When you do the full review, try adjusting the steam temperature to the maximum to see if the machine will steam the milk quicker.

  3. US, California watcher…Too bad you didn't review the special features that make this model so compelling; like the externally adjustable OPV pressure and water deficit flow valve. I would've started by adjusting OPV bypass to 9 BAR using the blind filter and water deficit to the lower end so the pressure ramp-up is more gradual, like a lever machine. I've been very interested in this V2.0 version of the MiiCoffee, (same as the Turin Legato v2.0), because of the huge amount of features you get for ~$500: Dual PIDs for brewing AND steaming, separate thermoblock for steaming so there's no wait when making milk drinks, auto shot timer, etc…Hopefully next time you can demonstrate those features. BTW the sound needs work. Too much isolation so there's no sound from the espresso making at all.

  4. after watching your video I did purchase a V2 but mines was shinny think stainless steel took a bit of time to set up but really nice

  5. Watching while on vacation in Girona with my Hibrew H10a that I won from your channel in tow! 🎉 Looking forward to seeing your reviews of these!

  6. Is it worth ordering dinzler online to deliver to UK? This is with respect to roast date being old or Manageable?

  7. Watching you from Iran❤️Please make a video about how to steam milk for latte art👍🏻❤️❤️

  8. Ciao Tom!
I'm really looking forward to your review of the Eureka Mignon 65 AP.
I have a Kingrinder K2 (amazing value), and would like to get my first electric grinder.
I've seen some reviews from overseas of this Eureka, which is pretty new: most of them do complain about a burrs chipping sound, especially as the grinder is switched off…
I've found a good price for it here in Germany, still I wait for your opinion 😊

    Saluti da Wolfsburg!
