I am delighted to announce that owner & winemaker Pietro Ratti from the legendary Barolo winery, Renato Ratti Estate, is here at Solare Ristorante to lead a very special Wine Dinner.
The Italian Wine Dinner is Monday, February 24.
Renato Ratti Estate was founded over 50 years ago and is absolutely one of the top names in Barolo. They grow and produce wine from some of the best crus in Barolo.
In fact, The name “Renato Ratti” is directly tied to the evolution and ultimate success of modern Barolo. It was his idea to introduce the “cru” concept to the Barolo/Langhe district.
We are pouring epic Ratti Estate wines including the Ratti “Rocche dell’Annunziata” cru Barolo and Magnums of their Ratti “Marcenasco” Barolo.
Pietro is very engaging and charismatic, and you will really like getting to know him. Pietro will let us know firsthand what is happening right now in Barolo and Piemonte.
