The 3rd year on the homestead, from October ’23 to October ’24. Most of the outside work on the first cabin is done and I am focussing on the work inside. The goal is to pack the tent and be inside before snowfall. The first night I spend on a few floorboards that are just installed. It’s a heavy winter but working inside makes things easy. Some extra heavy snow falls in March, and even in April when the trees are already green. In summer the work outside starts. I’m building a greenhouse where the tent was before and make a start with the work shop and the second cabin.

  8. Good morning ! Thank you for sharing your adventure between work and a moment of fullness, of beauty, and calm!

  9. Your place is so similar to Vermont and Maine it's really impossible to tell the difference, even the evening colors in the sky, there are differences such as we have many different evergreen trees and millions of them❤

  10. After seeing everything, I still ask my self, what job did he had before moving into the alps or did I overheard it at some point 😁?

  11. What an artist, in every way. And what a nice global community. Here since day 1 too, and I enjoy watching the videos as much as reading all your comments. Greetings and love to all of you.❤

  12. Thanks Martijn! First I thought I did not need to watch this as I saw all episodes but then it got me again. The Tent, Jimny, all the work, the dog… somehow you plant your life in my memory. And it’s a pleasure. Bedankt en op naar jaar 4, groet uit Overijssel.
