  1. Yesssss Agnes, we made It! Italian cabernet scores the best valute wine among the 5 50 EUR wine! So Happy… And france has failed😎😁. U made me day Agnes. Thanks 😜

  2. first time i see your video with x1 speed :(which is very rare alltogether when i watch youtube) clear sign that I had not to be convinced by the interest, and I was not disappointed…thanks !

  3. I’m not shocked. I think that Bordeaux is totally overrated. The quality to price ratio is just not that good. Also, in fairness, you could pick five different cabs from those regions and get five totally different results.

  4. Very good tasting, but your winner wine tenuta san guido 2022 is 60% merlot a 40% cabernet sauvignon. It is the first time in history that 2022. I agree, it is great wine . I gave it 94 p.

  5. Great video. For the next, I’d say perhaps Syrah. I think it does a great job of reflecting place.

  6. Love this format! I'd love to see either Riesling, Pinot Noir, or Sauvignon Blanc next.

  7. Best Cabernet Sauvignon video ever Agnese ❤❤ you're always so great greetings from Winnipeg. 🍷

  8. Great episode, my guess going into this was Bordeaux followed by Italy then Chili and Napa as a tossup. I think if you go to the $100 mark it will be very interesting. I think country wise it will stay close to the same with chili performance improving. Of course, when you start at corked, there’s really only one way to go, let’s hope 😂
And as always: Enjoy the sunlight held together by water🍷🍷

  9. I find that just like Bordeaux, once you get past the cult wines and big corporate names there is still plenty of great value in Napa Valley wines. They can be harder to find, especially outside of the US market, but plenty of family owned estates are still putting out stellar wines at reasonable market prices!

  10. See…just because a wine is from esteemed Bordeaux, we think it will be the best.

  11. you should try El Enemigo Cabernet Franc 2019… its a bomb for just 20 dll… its really a bomb.. very super very close from his big brother El gran enemigo for 100dll

  12. Just to know, a 50 dollars Bordeaux in the USA is a 30 dollars Bordeaux in France ? And a 50 dollars napa valley in the United States is a 65 or 70 dollars napa valley wine in France ?

  13. hi Agnes, I'm surprised u hv such positive comments on Guidaberto. I tasted full case of vintage 16. it only worth 90pt the max.

by comparison, I prefer to hv Le Volte instead

  14. Cork taint is not what it is. I have had $100 bottles corked on special occasions. Very annoying and preventable.

  15. What a brilliant idea for a video!. Honest and entertaining. $50 was the right price point. Where a wine buyer should expect to get significant quality. At $100 a bottle becomes more of a luxury and less of a "value." Cab Sauv was the best choice for the varietal as it is grown world wide. A shame a bottle was corked. It's real world and happens to us all. I think you should wait a year and do it again. Just make sure your camera man reads the back label for varietal % next time. 🙂

  16. Thanks for a great unfiltered true blind tasting. Articulate analysis all around.👏any and all varieties would be appreciated.

  17. Great videos as always. You should really just go through all the major grape varieties at this price point and maybe up it to 75-100 for future episodes.(Riesling hint hint) Love this platform for tasting. It’s true and unfiltered.

  18. I share your tasting opinions with the BV cabernet and the Chateau Pedesclaux. The BV is my favorite affordable California cabernet for everyday drinking. I buy them directly from the winery for less than $30 a bottle, a steal. I opened a bottles of 2020 Pedesclaux a few months back just to see and I was disappointed. It was disjointed, not much fruit and hallowed. I hope time will bring it together as I still have five bottles in my cellar.

  19. It would be very interesting to have a comparable South African Cabernet to compare with these wines side by side.

  20. This price point is maybe the sweet spot for quality/price from my experience, at least in red. 35 bucks or euros for white.
