This video resonated with me so much😊 You gave us so many great takeaways. Thank you. My go-to restaurant meal is typically grilled or baked chicken or a grilled steak with broccoli and/or seasonal vegetables. Sometimes I order a salad as well. Happy New Year🎉

I eould also try to look at the menu before going, to make the healthiest choice possible, and not let hunger/pressure make decisions for me.
I had one friend obsessed with Italian food, not the most supportive. So I'd steer him to Carabba's intead of Olive Garden. Order a grilled chicken gremolata with veggies and mashed potatoes, take half of the potatoes and chicken home. If I really felt like it, they had mini desserts. It was perfect.
So true, I have such an issue with eating fast. When I worked in an office we ate fast to get outside to smoke. I still struggle with eating fast, even though I haven't smoked in decades.
I live in the country on a farm with just my husband, eating social isn’t something we do. I do eat too fast, I know it’s a learned habit from childhood. I don’t drink alcohol so that’s a bonus for me. We don’t eat desert unless it’s just a piece of fruit. We rarely go out to dinner so I’m lucky this isn’t an issue for me, but when we do I tend to get salads and ask for my dressing on the side. These are all good tips. Happy 2025 Dr Anna.
I love this video. I’m thinking of making a list of what to choose at restaurants we normally go to and make our decisions before getting there and not look at all the options while hungry. 😊
