Layers of love, cheese, and holiday cheer! This bread lasagna is the perfect mix of indulgence and comfortβ€”soft bread, rich sauce, and gooey cheese in every bite. It’s festive, hearty, and guaranteed to make everyone at the table smile! β€οΈπŸŽ„

For the Italian Sauce:
– 1 tbsp Butter
– 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
– 2 cups Tomato puree
– 1 tbsp Mixed herbs
– 1 tsp Sugar
– Salt to taste

For the Vegetables:
– 1 tbsp Butter
– 1 tbsp Garlic minced
– ΒΌ cup Onion finely chopped
– Β½ cup Mixed Bell Peppers finely chopped
– Β½ cup Broccoli
– 1 cup Spinach roughly chopped
– 2 tbsp Mixed herbs
– Salt to taste

For Assembly:
– Slices of Bread
– Italian Sauce
– Vegetables
– Mozarella cheese
– Fresh Basil
– Mixed Herbs

Method:
– Heat butter in a pan add in red chilli powder saute for a min
– Add in tomato puree along with all the other ingredients, mix well and let it simmer on a low flame for 10-15mins while it reduces
– Once done your Italian sauce is ready
– Saute veggies in butter for 2-3 minutes (do not over cook)
– Season with mixed herbs and salt and they are ready
– Take a rectangular baking dish, spread a layer of the Italian sauce, followed by a layer of bread, the sautΓ©ed vegetables, Italian sauce, fresh basil and some cheese
– Repeat the layers, garnish with mixed herbs and bake for 10-15mins at 180*c
– Garnish with some fresh basil and serve hot!
