Dear Nicki, I meditate everyday I use bible verses, especially the Psalms .It is very simple I take a verse or a promise from the bible and I write it down first, then I sit in a comfortable place ,relax my breathing and speak the verse out loud ,then I think about it and keep it in my mind for as long as I want to meditate .Meditating on the words of God and following his ways has helped me overcome intense fear and anxiety. It gives me peace and joy .Psalm 1 says" Happy is the person who meditates on God's words and everything they do is blessed .I have found this to be true and recommend it to you 🎉.You can find bibles verses easily o Google and the Internet.   3. I have been meditating for years. The challenge is always that my mind races to think about what I have to do, where I need to go, etc. Monkey mind they call it. To counter that, I simply listen to my breathing pattern, imagining how it sounds like waves of the ocean. Even 5min can be very beneficial…just don’t stress about doing it “perfectly” because that would not set you up for success. Maybe try that?

  4. Nicki you asked about meditation. I’ve been doing it off and on for many years, more so since 2020. I found that it can be difficult to begin if you’re used to a certain go-go-go routine everyday. But once you commit to begin with just 10-15 minutes a day (and think of it as putting on your own oxygen mask first!), gradually increasing to however much time you want to spend, you will find that it’s a fantastic way to get your day off to a good start or to relax and unwind after a busy day. Meditation comes in many forms so find what works best for you, whether sitting still, going within and deep breathing, focusing on gratitudes, painting (on canvas, paper or your house!), etc. Your yoga routine is a form of meditation, by the way. Meditation is great for both mental and physical health! Good luck!

Meditation isn't about sitting cross legged on the floor… it is setting aside some time just for yourself… being in the present… letting those useless thoughts just pass and bringing your self back to the present… the longer you practice it the easier it becomes…the goal is to release all thoughts, focus on your breath, slow the breathing down, notice any sensations in your body and just be in the moment. You will feel so much better for doing it.

  7. Can you guys do more exploring around Tuscany, and less home fixup and repair content? Sure some fix up and repair is interesting (vs fixup and repair in other countries), but we don't have a sense of Tuscany from your recent content, per se. We first tuned in to Positano Diaries since it was about, well, Positano (and including some home related topics). For instance, you used to tour shops and restaurants around Positano. Yet, I don't think you've toured your neighboring village(?) though apologies in advance if you've done that local village tour and we missed it. And then, maybe tour nearby villages, shops, restaurants, vineyards, gardens, etc. I realize your busy on the new house in Tuscany but that's just my two cents and just some feedback and keep up the good work.

  8. Carlo did an amazing job of clearing the land. I love the tree arch. I’ve tried meditating so many times and I can only last maybe 5 minutes. I’d rather go for a beautiful walk on my own ❤️

  10. Meditation is more of a way of life. While some start out with active meditation, or quietude and emtying the mind…. making attempts. Others view meditation as a manifestation tool. In my journey of meditation, and prayer, i had to release the idea that I would get anything from the exercises. Meditation, while rich with gifts and outcomes, is not a practice that promises one a rose garden. No gold stars. No homework complete. It's more… do or do not.

  11. My meditation is walking alone in the forest or along the small river near our house – I think it is just taking yourself to a quieter place and surrounding yourself with nature,, like your dog walking in nature and the beauty around you. Of course, meditation is whatever you want it to be.

  12. Meditation changed my life. It didn’t fix my life; but it gave me tools and a spiritual perspective that has forever changed me in a very positive way. ❤
