NOTE: I personally paid for this Cathay Pacific Business Class flight in full.

Today we’re flying from Bangkok to Hong Kong and on to Auckland, New Zealand on Cathay Pacific Airlines, Business Class. I’m going to show you the entire experience, and all the food along the way – from the lounges to the flights.

We started off with a short flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong, and all went well. We then headed to the Cathay Pacific lounge in Hong Kong where I discovered a food court hidden where you can eat some amazing dan dan noodles and wonton noodles.

The main flight from Hong Kong to Auckland was about 10 hours, and it all went well. The food was excellent, and the staff were great. I think Cathay Pacific is one of the best airlines for food and service.

Welcome to New Zealand!

  1. Just flew with them this morning, had the same layout as you but my seats the remote doesn’t pop out and the service was extremely slow. Would take over 10 min for staff to come over so I ended up doing most of the things myself like getting up to get a drink and make my own bed, fetch my own pillow. The beef ribs and chicken clay pot was all sold out… ended up settling with duck noodle soup.

Compared to other airlines the seats are much older and service seems not as polished

  2. everything you eat Mark looks delicious. You spread happiness and good vibes on your food vlogs. Love it, my mouth was salivating every time you eat the food.

  3. Ying is so Pretty ! Love her Smile ! She has a Smile that would light up a room ! 🙂🙂🙂

  4. Mark , I'm a 74 year old retired Electrican with 56 years in the trade and also a retired Federal Fighter DOD with 30 years of service. My late beloved grandmother taught me how to cook when I was 10 years old ! I had to cook breakfast and lunch for my late beloved G'Dad, myself and my late beloved twin brother while our G'ma was at work. She was a seamtress at a garmnent factory and G'dad took care of the farm. They grew all of their vegetables and had chickens, egg layers and meat birds , milk cows , pigs, etc. And I had to cook meals for 12-15 Firefighters on shift at the firehouse numerous times. But I have watched all of your videos and love how You, Ying and Micah travel all over the World and try different foods. I was in the U.S.Army StratCom, Vietnam Vet and I was stationed in Bangkok for 15 months and my late beloved ex-wife was Thai and from Thonburi, Thailand ! I LOVE Thai Food !

  5. The only way that I eat Prawns or Shrimp is that they have to be breaded in Corn Meal or Shrinp Fry Seasoning after a dredge in a beaten egg and milk bath and then Deep Fried ! Nice Crispy & Crunchy !!

  6. Ying and Micah on the plane right across the isle from Mark and while he's eating they are sleeping !
When they wake up , Ying will say , '' You Hungry ? '' And Mark will say, '' No , I already ate ! '' LOL 😂🤣

  7. Looks great, but me no eat no Pork, and most seafood. So half of the cuisine would not be for me but still enjoy it and looks yummy Keep going My brother

  8. im starting to doubt if you`re really a real food reviewer, every food you eat you have the same reaction like you`re saying every food you eat is delicious

  9. no negative food comments from u i never saw in your youtube channel been following you for years now

  10. Hey mark it would be nice to review on economy class too people you can’t afford the Buisiness class or first class

  11. Food in economy with Cathay pacific wasnt nice at all. Recently flew with them in oct to london from auckland

  12. I am sure Mark is a nice chap, and incredibly successful but yet humble. But honestly, his recommendations are not quite 'suitable' for well travelled Asians. Cathay is a case in point, cheap/ mediocre food/ menu (HK$120 max per meal), average service and oldish seats and TV screens… Would recommend SQ or EVA instead….sipping Blue Label (on EVA) or SQ's finer menus all the way to Auckland. 🤭🤭🤭
