Matthau & Lemmon are two of the greatest team ups in movies. You need to see their original partnerships in The Odd Couple and in The Fortune Cookie to really get the full experience.
The families of jack and Walter actually talked about moving around burial sites so they could next to each other.

My favorite people when i was little were my great-grandparents, i spent all of my childhood with them, as much as I could. They had 2 movies on vhs; this, and the 1st Home Alone. This is entirely my favorite movie, more so than the first one. Watching it makes me cry every time.
You girls should check out The Great Race starring Tony Curtis , Peter Faulk , Natalie Wood , and Jack Lemon playing a dual role . I think it's a great entertaining movie .

I got so emotional watching these movies because it literally reminds me of my grandfather. It just seemed that these times were just perfectly simple. I hope to retire one day and be just like John and Max.

Nice reaction ladies. Another love story between more mature people that you would like is The African Queen. It stars two of the biggest stars in Hollywood history, Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn. I know you'll both live it.

Jack the giant Slayer, very entertaining and good movie
They where just the perfect comedy duo there was supposed to be a 3rd called Grumpiest old men with a release date of 1997 but for some reason got cancelled at the last minute. Luckily they made quite a few films together ten films although i think two out of the ten starred Walter matthau and jack lemmon directed.
These two made the movie The Odd Couple together, based of the television show. You should check it out as they were much younger.
