Have you ever been cut off at an all you can eat, or kicked out a buffet? Does all you can eat mean all you can eat? Personally, I hate when this happens.. It’s awkward, and no one wants to be “unwanted” in a restaurant! Nonetheless, today we get cut off at an all you can eat buffet restaurant. We went to review this Chinese food buffet (not even a buffet challenge) and things went wrong at the buffet. There isn’t much more I can say, besides I am not mentioning the name of the place as I wish them well, although admittingly i didn’t really like the food, so please do not mention names if you know the place. Is it an all you can eat buffet challenge? No, this was just a normal meal but apparently we figured how to beat all you can eat buffet and got banned from the buffet. Watch and see how a food challenge youtuber got kicked out of a buffet.. professional eater vs all you can eat

  1. If he was just grabbing plates of meat, and crab legs and oysters… I can see a point in time where they would say "Hey.. Enough".
    .
But he was eating more veggies and fruits, which are essentially free compared to the proteins, and if all he ate was what he showed, that's not that much for a fat dude at a buffet.

If I had to guess, it was probably more about time than food quantity. I've been to a few "all you can eat" places in Taiwan.. I think we put one out of business.. BBQ/Hot Pot place.(cook it yourself on your table). It was fantastic. Like 10 different kinds of pork and chicken and beef.. All kinds of fish, clams, scallops, squid, octopus, shrimp. They had Ostrich, and that was really really good.. Of course they had vegetables and stuff, but, we were 3 fat/chubby Americans at an all you could eat place, it was all about the proteins.. And the kicker.. All you could drink… Of the local Taiwanese Beer, which isn't bad.. The equivalent of $12 American each.. They kicked us out at 2 hours, and that was printed on the menu, we knew.. We left a tip, a large one, even though that isn't customary over there. They went out of business about 4 months later. We drank A LOT!!!!!! You can not ever tell me "All you can Drink".. You're going to lose every time.

  2. The bill was $16 and some change, I think you really did get your money's worth. You are enough for four or five full grown men.

  3. That just sucks, if it was me, would have been really pissed off and I would have let them have it.

  4. Hey Joel, as a restaurant owner, I don’t think it was right to cut you off and kick you out. It would be EXTREMELY rare to have a professional enter your restaurant and eat as much as you can. It wouldn’t break the bank, and the marketing expense would be justified.

  5. Wow. You weren't even going hard on expensive stuff! You were eating tons of veggies and fruits. That's crazy.

  6. He said he didn’t even go to smash it just have his one normal meal for the day… next minute he eats plate after plate after plate πŸ˜‚

  7. I think places could have a "competitive eater fee" like pay $30 extra. And maybe a time limit. But I am not sure how they would differentiate between them and just big eaters. Like, if a football team rolls into the buffet, I think they should get regular price.Or perhaps they could just charge a filming fee to film yourself eating. $15.99 buffet, no filming in restaurant unless you pay $30 for right to film.

  8. The song in the background when they kicked him out was the icing on the cakeπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ cause "there's no other place he would've rather been"

  9. I would ask them before you pay how much food you can get for your money . Have them explain it to you beforehand so there's no hard feelings

  10. If everybody ate the amount of food I did all you can eat buffets would be a lot last money😊

  11. It was the filming, I would bet. They probably didn't care about the 4 or 5 plates of food, but the filming of the food got them miffed.

  12. Not the first time this has occurred. In the 1980s I knew someone who attended an all you can eat buffet. After consuming over 100 oysters, he was asked to leave because there simply wasn't enough and other guests complained. He didn't have to pay and really didn't mind. He later laughed and said how many people can consume that many oysters? Well, we now know of at least one person. πŸ˜‚

  13. If all competitive eaters ate at all you can eat there wouldn't be any. Food challenges fair enough. Going as a 'normal' customer you are taking the piss.

  14. I would personally go to the kitchen and serve myself 80 kilo of fish that I'll eat at home. Idc what you think

  15. Was that the first time you got kicked out of a buffet and if so why did you get kicked out that was totally a shit situation

  16. You're not actually doing an eating competition for this one though, so I don't blame them. If you're doing a competition it's a mutually beneficial thing for you for your channel, and then also for the restaurant since it's advertisement for them.

  17. The other reason is did you ask them before filming? That may have been another reason they made the decision

  18. chinese are cheap, we should likey be getting our goods from any other country but them….maybe…

  19. If it was my restaurant and I was renigining on my offer I wouldn't present a ck to my customer. They are lucky to have such a kind customer.

  20. There should be limits to how much you eat. These businesses are not expected to accommodate for competitive eater types. As a doctor, you will also drastically increase your risk to cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes with your practices.

I think you should pay for 3 customers worth of all you can eat meals seeing as you eat what 3 heavy eaters will eat.

All of the comments here are from very confused people. All you fools are doing is encouraging businesses to out hard limits on their practices because of people like Joel.

  22. You are about $150 worth of food, not $16.20 which they charged you.

Even though it is all you can eat, they are counting on sensible behaviour. Not abject greed and disregard for others like you demonstrated.

What if there was only so much shrimp they had on one day and a vacuum cleaner like Joel happened to be first in line and emptied the whole tray for the day. What about other people’s rights?

I support this business 100%. Joel was wrong. Don’t go to all you can eats you grub. Atleast pay for each individual item and then let’s see if you have quite as hefty an appetite.

  23. If the restaurant wants to "limit" the AYCE, maybe they should set a time limit – like in one hour or two hours.
Then, customers would know ahead and manage their expectations of how much they can actually eat. IMHO

  24. Maybe they didn't like that he ate toooo much pineapple????? πŸπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

  25. Love it when he gets kicked out. He says he’s humble, but don’t act like it. He says he’s not going to cry about it. Yet, does cry for like 10mins. And maybe, just maybe, when you go in a buffet. You should tell them that you’re a competitive eater. You say you’re not upset about it. Yet, go on a 5mijs cry baby rant. Other ppl gotta eat you know. Not just you
