  1. I stand guilty in focusing on Nebiolo wines… (Barolo and Barbaresco) I will take this video to heart;and look more into the barbera grape! Thank you yet again for your many informative videos! Your insight is much valued !

  2. Pleased to see Barbera getting the spotlight on your channel! It’s such an underrated grape variety. Certainly deserves more attention. I’ve enjoyed several Barberas in Piemonte and even back home where it’s not easy to find good ones at fair prices. I have also recently reordered the Barbera of Pio Cesare, Massolino, Vajra, Vietti, and Michele Chiarlo. I’ll try to look for the ones you featured here as well. Cheers, John!

  3. Italy has lots of underrated, reasonably priced wines. I often go for Refosco (red) or Fiano (white) as reliable choices in Italian restaurants. Barbera, Dolcetto and Falanghina are others.

  4. The best Barbera is BRICCO DELL'UCCELLONE by Braida. It’s about $80 to $90 but it is worth every single penny. By far, my favorite Barbera.

  5. I visted the Michele Chiarlo winery in 2019. Great visti and great wines. Also tasted the Cerequio and Cannubi plus some other wines…
