From Piedmont, Italy comes this beautiful 2021 Villa Sparina Gavi White Wine. The winemaker uses a Cortese grape which is primarily grown in Northern Italy.
Tasting notes: flavors of slightly tart lemon rind & apples. There is a nice crispness & acidity to this wine followed by a lower sweetness level/minerality. Elegant wine worth of a 3.9/5 rating…though if you come across a 2020 vintage….nab one of those…it was just a smidge more enjoyable!
Bought locally for $32-48 per bottle…for white wine lovers give these Gavi region wines a whirl…you won’t be disappointed.
