Learn how to make authentic Italian marinara sauce!

Ingredients:
7 Vine Ripened Tomatoes (Cored)
1 Bulb of Garlic
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tsp Oregano
1 Tsp Basil
1 Tsp Parsley
2 Bay Leaves (fresh or dried)
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Pepper
3 oz Tomato Paste

Instructions:
Char tomatoes on the range for added flavor
Peel garlic and put it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Add charred tomatoes to a baking sheet
Coat tomatoes and garlic in olive oil, salt, and pepper
Roast in the oven at 400F for 35 mins
Add half of the tomatoes and all of the garlic to a food processor and pulse
Add the remainder of tomatoes, oregano, parsley, basil, garlic powder, olive oil, salt and pepper to the food processor and pulse
Add tomato paste and puree til desired consistency
Add sauce to pan with bay leaves and simmer
Enjoy!
The sauce can be kept in a jar in the refrigerator for 1 week.
